Strange problem , but still exists. I was running 6.0 for 3 months and it was fine , but now it does not want to sent e-mails from site (recommend us module, news mailing, password reminder ect). I just dont have a clue what might be the problem. Users just dont recive any e-mails...
Any ideas guys?

who's hosting?? u or a web host?? If a web host, then check with them to see if they've changed their sendmail restrictions.

Hosting.
But the point is that i restored my DB from the backup file 1 week ago. My friend uses another hosting - he also has php nuke 6.0 and also 1 week ago his hoster moved his site on another server(!) BUT NOW HE HAS THE SAME PROBLEM THAT I DO!!! so it looks like a major bug with nuke or nuke's DB - when you restore it or move on other server.

My hosting did not change anything.... ((((

it's not a bug with nuke, I can assure you. I've just moved my site about 9 or 10 times in the last 2 weeks between my PC and my server and it still works 100%.

still, even though it's not likely to be nuke, and ur host is saying they haven't changed anything, I'd ask them if there's any special switches you should be using to use Sendmail. Same goes for ur friend.

If you're still having problems, then try re-uploading all the files for nuke to your site, just in case something got corrupted during hte move.

Well, thats the point - i have not moved anything from nuke dir, i just reuploaded the DB from a backup file, everything works fine exept this mailing problem, and my Friend has absolutly different hosting and he moved just his DB as well, i looks strange just couz we have so different histings but the problem is the same.

Actually i dont use it... but... the funny thing is that my phpbb2 doest not send any mails as well now... i dont have ports like phpbb2nuke it in a separate folder like /forum

sorry i dont have my ftp up now, i will sent it to your PM in 3-4 hours ok?

so it looks like a DB problem for sure, couz i have 1 DB and it is the same for my phpbb forum and for my nuke site.

maybe I wasn't quite specific enough - THE SITE NOT SENDING EMAILS CAN HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THE SQL DATABASE..... THEY'RE NOT EVEN CONNECTED WITH EACH OTHER

The ONLY possible problem with the SQL database not sending emails out would be to members if the user_email field was empty in the nuke_users table - which - if what I read was correct about it applying to the Recommend us module and whatever as well - which don't even use the SQL database - it does suggest something else is the problem.

Sorry for being so blund and abrupt, but I get a little frustrated when people assume one thing despite my telling them another in not so many words.
