Hiya,

Just installed PHPNuke6.5 2nite, and the MyEgallery for 6.5 from here. I can't get it to save any catagories I create, and therefore can't upload any images. Also there doen't appear to be any file types in the db. How do I put the file types in?? I'l be needing .swf, .jpg, .gif, and .png for now.
I'm not getting any error messages.
Any help would be great. Thanks,

BAdger.

same possible solution (and damn near the same problem) as this: http://www.nukecops.com/postt1520.html

Please search the forums in the future.

As for file types, add them urself using the admin panel.

Sorry. I'm not sure of the syntax for the file types. Can you enlighten me?

That folder is chmod 777. If I try and add the same catagory again, it says it is already there, but I have no acces to it. The folder is created ok in /modules/gallery but I can't select te catagory to upload images.

Thanks

Badger

Well thanks for your help, but it would appear that your install link in your instructions doesn't actually install the database. it seems to be ok now.

actually scratch that. I've just tried uploading a few pics and I'm getting this error:
Code:
Warning: Division by zero in /home/www/unknownp/html/modules/My_eGallery/public/imageFunctions.php on line 102

Warning: Division by zero in /home/www/unknownp/html/modules/My_eGallery/public/imageFunctions.php on line 105

The pics are on my server and the thumbs have been created (i'm using imagemagick!) but I can't see them and I'm getting these errors. I can see the pics in Art ok though. I tried searching for a solution for this but couldn't find one.
Any help would be fantastic.

Badger.

I'll look into it. I'm trying to work through the security code issue @ the moment though, so I can't give you a time frame as yet.

Hi there. I'm stilll having trouble with My EGallery. I double checked everything, and I reckon it should work. I have no errors now, but it is not creating the thumbnails using netpbm OR imagemagick. When I try and use GD (which I hate!) I do get loads of errors. The thumbs gallery has been created and is automatically chmodded to 777, but the thumb files are created but are all empty. The filesizes are all zero. I still can't see the images at all. HELP!

Any ideas??

Personally, I quite like the GD library method, but that's just me.

Have you tried the Browser method of thumbnail generation?? I Know it's not the best out of the lot, but it worked for me.

Now I've got the security image problem sorted, I'll have a look into the image problems to see if I'm getting them too (was a bit lazy with the checking, but I did try to check everything b4 I posted the links)

Just as a guide, what type of image importing are you having troubles with?? Just uploading, just batch-building, or both??
