Hello Tech
This brings up a point I've struggled with. I search the forums, not just nukeCops forums but others too. Frequently I must look through many hundreds of posts to find a "fix" and sometimes just don't see it even when it's there. We need a "fixed" file sorted (or sortable) for all the special posts that actually solve a problem or fix a problem.

I know it's more work for nukeCops but what's a service group for? The whole idea of providing a free service is to have peripherals that make money. If the "free" is good enough, the extras that people pay for will make a LOT of money. NukeCops is well on the way. Providing an easy "fix file" would help. As a consultant (not computers) I've always found that the more you could teach others to do the job themselves, the more people turned to you to help them. That's the pay off. Let's have a fix file that pulls these widely spread posts with fixes and solved problems together. Thanks

Hello everybody.

I am a beginner with nuke and I have some troubles that I'm trying to figure.

I have 6.9 installed and I aslo had this admin login problem, but my problem weren't solved by deleting cookies. I figured that I start having admin login problem right after I disable some blocks. You know, made all the changes what I need - and then I just couldn't login back. I did figured to look into PHPMyAdmin and I tryed the password trick (didn't look at any forums at that time) - didn't work. Well I had to rebuild the database and it fixed the problem temporary - as soon as I disabled a few blocks I had the same problem.

Here is the reason - Language Block - well, that was my problem, I'm not sure about everybody else, but may be it will help. I went back to the phpmyadmin and edited the blocks table - changed the active column for Language block to 1. So it activated the actual block. I was logining back perfectly.

So, when I figured what was the problem, I played more turning it off and on - I don't need Language block. Anyway, I solved the problem - I turned it off and couldn't log in - went back to edit the phpmyadmin and noticed that refresh column has value 3600 when block is ON and 0 - when its OFF - so I left the block inactive, but I changed the refrash from 0 to 3600 and you know what - I don't have the block appearing on the page and I'm still logining in just fine Smile

Good luck. Hope this little experiance of mine will help.
