Boy I am anxious to be able to use this Upload Module. It is definitly going to be a VERY useful tool on my phpnuke site. My users are waiting anxiously as I expect a lot of other people are... |

My site needs this too. Maybe if enough people show interest it will get bumped up the priority list |

Hehe... now with the server upgrade nearly complete (minus the additional 2 GB memory sticks), I can get started on coding again. First things first, some security work needs to be done and released. |

Nice.
I have tried 3 other upload scripts, none of them worked with my PHP Nuke blog
Hopefully this Nukecops upload module will be released soon, as I know this a more reliable source to grab content from.
Also, the tech support is superb. |

Well i have installed an upload module into my php-nuke site and it works perfectly , after the inatial mistake of myself not setting the upload size in the php.ini file to more than 2 megs everything is working well , this module replaces your standard download one and gives u the option of being able to upload a file to the site , the user selects which section of your downloads it goes into and once it has been uploaded u as admin gets to see it before it is accepted and added , my users have found it to be so handy , no more having to provide links to the files, they just upload them. I myself also had no problem in adding the fetch code mod to this one as well so that when downloads are asked for it brings up the security code , all up it would have taken me about 5 minutes to install both these togeather and i have not had a problem with it yet from 1 k uploads to 23 meg uploads it has worked perfectly , I am now just working on trying to intergrate it with the enhanced downloads but as it is working fine at the moment i am in no hurry. I am running php-nuke 7.0
If you would like this upload module it can be found on my site at
http://ices.dyndns.org and it is in the php-modules download section , sorry but u will have to register to gain access.
Or if u have any problems with it let me know and i am sure i can help.

Hey ice is there any way to allow visitors to view downloads and descriptions but they must register to download the file???
On my site I have a screenshot for every map and I want to let visiters get in to downloads to see the screenies but I want them to register to d/l the maps... Any way to include this option??? |

Sorry, it's activated now. There are no file-types with this one, or private categories, but I still find it handy, and it works
Cheers,
~Steve |
