What the hell is going on?
FB's removed Splatt from nuke, and he's renaming fields in the database to be compatible wiht 1 module? WHY????? We've done the fix on the files here already. All he had to do was use our files - our FIXED files.
Of course, Splatt being removed means that half my bug fixes are now irrelevant
ARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHH

Well, I for one was never clear on why FB left the Splatt forums in 6.5 to begin with.
If anything, he should have compiled two versions of 6.5. One with splatt and one with phpBB.
just my 2 cents.
my guess as to his changes in BETA6 would be to get closer to making phpB and PHP-Nuke seemless, which is still not accomplished in 6.5 beta5.

well it might be hard to believe, but even though phpBB is the God forum in php Nuke @ the moment, some people still use Splatt
Now, if they want to use Splatt, they're gonna have to download it and implement it very carefully
[edit]
Also, 2 versions of nuke 6.5 can't realistically be done because of the number of code changes and implementations that there are in nuke 6.5 from tbe phpBB port.

Trues on not having 2 versions..just my brainstorming..hhe.
I kind of thought that was the reason for the Big jump from version 6.0 to 6.5. I thought maybe FB kind of did that in order to leave a few versions open b/w 6.0 adn 6.5 in order to release fixed versions of 6.0 with Splatt as 6.1, 6.2, 6.3 and 6.4. Then 6.5 would be left for phpBB only.
At least that is the way I would have opted to do it. But hey, Who am I? lol

Wow, that certainly is quite a change. My other system is offline that has the club password, so I've asked FB to PM me it instead. Hopefully I'll get the new beta soon. |

Ok, FB resent my password so I just got beta 6. I suspect as early as today Nuke Cops will be upgrading. |
