Great opportunity for any webmaster!

I need help in a bad way! My forums do not work for my current site. Can't seem to get cheap (free help) so I am willing to trade two of my domains that are running on a dating network for expert help in solving this problem.

You get these two dating sites:

www.truchemistry.com
www.bbwonlinedating.com

You get to own both logo identies.
I will transfer doamin ownership to you.
You then have the freedom to leav or stay with the current dating web host. (I would, it's a no brainer)

I have made a very little bit of money on these sites, but have no time to promote.

It's a great side gig for a webmaster with the time.

What I want is that my forum and the rest of the site (phpnuke) work properly. (it's the forum and I think the member list giving me problems. they are not showing up. See thisi thread of mine:http://www.nukecops.com/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=82422#82422

Thanks,
Alyn

Not really interested in your sites...but will try and offer some help. I went to the links and I do not see any problems with your forum other than it is not "inside" the nuke environment. Is it your plan to integrate it with nuke? The reason why I ask is because your link is calling it up as an independent file and not a nuke module.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

i just activated the forum again. I had set it up as stand alone becasue It was not working. I just get a blank screen with footer info. I have reinstalled severtal times. I would like to integrate it with nuke if possible.

Please see my this thread for additional info:

Well...the first problem is that the forum link in your header is wrong. The correct format for the link is "modules.php?name=Forums" BUT the most important problem is that you have no forums set up on the board. You need to log into nuke as an admin and then click on the forums icon and start setting everything up from there.

BTW, if I help you get this fixed maybe some free banner ads on your site Wink

Thanks,
Bruener

Hello Bruener!

The actual problem is that when I do log into the admin and select the forum button, I get a fram with jsut a footer with copyright info and a link to this site. So I actually can't even set up a forum.

So what would be the problem do you suppose?

I don't have a problem with advertising for you with banners, but what will you be advertising? As long as it's not adult content (not that I'm against it or anything, but you know the site is dads rights and all. But again, I have no problem. I also have a wedding site that's geographic specific. i can run ads there for you as well. And a few more sites in the works.

Help me and I will help you.

Thanks
Happy New Year.

Looks to me like you don't have all the forum admin panel files there, check they are all there in modules/forums/admin should be around 24 php files in there.

Hey Dar63, thanks for the tip. It was a bit hopeful in thinking that I might just have not uploaded all the files, but upon checking, they are all there. I even re-uploaded the forum files in ASCII and CHMODDED files to 666 an ddir to 777. Now i get a , "you can't access this file from here" or some message like that when I click on the admin button to the formus.

I'll scrap the whole thing and do a complete re-install and dump teh DB and start from scratch.

I'll keep you posted.

Thansk guys!
