I installed header.gt (changed to header.php), footer and .htaccess files but now I can't access my site.
What have I done wrong ?

Standard information first: Nuke version, GT version, Apache version, your URL.
Note: I will put this "standard information question" in my template, since more and more people are asking questions without giving these standard info
(The site now works because I can't take it offline, but I DO get a 403 once I copy the .htaccess-file into the root-folder)

Ok, got it:
It was the "AllowOverride All" problem in the httpd.conf. My server, for some reason, read the config file >>later<<???
In addition to that the FollowSymLink had to be set in the .htaccess AND in the httpd.conf. That's probably because of the Confixx-Software that I use to administer my domains etc..
