Is there any addon like this for PHP-Nuke, or ideas on how to do this? Using PHP-Nuke 6 ported with phpbb2 forums. This would be a must-have addon and would be a great way to get people involved in forums!

I know that Nukemods has the same thing. I think the addon to do it is available over there, I'm not sure if nukecops has it here or not.
If memory server there is actually two things that you have to create, a new news block, and a topic in your forum for news, then link them with the addon. I believe the block is available at Anorscorner

The Module is called ForumNews and we recently updated/redid that Module/hack because now you can make topics just like the nuke news module. Just view the module on our homepage. http://www.anorscorner.com
