Its going to happen. Best not to advertise for them. As I understand it while morally wrong. Under the current GNU/GPL license there is nothing which can be done. Since its released as GNU/GPL it can be freely distributed so long as the other requirements are met. Wouldn't even do any good to complain to the ISP since they aren't breaking any laws.

I didn't visit the link, but let me guess... someone is distributing a php-nuke 6.5? Yeap, its not illegal as per the gnu/gpl. However it takes away from the club membership that pays for fbc to work on nuke full time. If membership falls and fbc doesn't get enough finances he won't be able to continue.

at least they're not giving all the other stuff off the club away for free. Also, he does say to join the club anyway.

I'm not endorsing that butt-steak, but they could have done worse.

Mabybe we'll see a PHPNukelite and PHPNukePro in the future. Then there would be some wiggle room to deal with this sorta thing. Then it would be nothing more then another Warez ...

well if FB manages to get a commercial licence sorted for nuke, then the one ppl will be after as warez will be the commercial one, and distributors of it would be liable for law suits (other than the authorised resellers that is)
