I go to Forums Administration and then I go to User Admin\Permissions where I type in the user name.
On the resulting screen titled "User Permissions Control", the Username value is blank.
This is a new install of 6.9, with the security patch SP-10-9-03 applied. I noticed most reports of problems with permissions were with upgrades, which this is not.
Has anyone else encountered this? This makes me think I have something mis-set someplace.
A work around I used was to create a group and put a user inside that. I was able to set permissions with groups and make groups moderators.
