This is what I see. In fact, they are all rewritten, but not correctly.
I just asked, because I thought, you already had a fix for that. It is the code from google-tap beta 0.60, that is rewriting the downloadlinks, but it seems to have problems with longer descriptions. |

There is a fix for that in the next release (hopefully this week). |

I'm looking forward to it. Now I replaced nearly everthing of the sala-files with the code of google-tap beta 0.60. Everything is working fine.
But there is one thing I did not yet understand. Why is that code-replacement /-addition in the sessions.php necessary? |

That's for the forums such that engines like googlebot will index them without seeing the &sid in the URLs. |

Is this the feature of PHP? Or is it a feature of phpBB?
I am using nuke 6.0 and phpBB-port 2.0.6 and I can't see those $sid. Maybe it's due to my server-configuration that php does not parse the session-vars to the adress-line of the browser. |

Typically any proper forum package displays the &sid in the URL for browsers that don't accept cookies on their filesystems. Its how registered members can browse a site without saving cookies to disk. Googlebot falls into that category as do other user-agents specific to search engines.
The sessions.php file is specific to phpbb. |

Okay. That was clear to me. I just forgot, that the &sid will not be used, when cookies are accepted from the User-Agent. I wondered, why I can't see them.
The rewrite-rules work fine. There are some minor problems, like the article-links for registered user (articlexxx.html&mode=nested&order=0&thold=0), but even that link works on my site.
Have you gone further developing the next version? |

Yes Christian, I've just been swamped from returning to work. Trying to get some balance back in my life. |
