I want another block with a different list of files for peeps to see.

I want to be able to edit this block in admin the way I can activate and deactivate the files in the Module block.

So I made duplicate files, changing the name module to another one, I created another table in the database without trouble and I even added a link file in the admin folder so I can click on it to edit this new block the way I do the module block.

Here's the problem, the new block shows up on the page but not in the admin. In fact when I click on the new block icon I get a blank page. Also all the links in the new block still point to "module.php" even though I changed the word module to the new block name in the block and admin/module folders

When I try to admin the new block, the address will look fine "http://www.mysite.com/admin?op=know.php"

but the page draws a blank. No erro message, no nothing.
How do I create another block listing for php files that are seperate from the usual 'home', 'your account' etc?

been banging away at this thinking I was smart enough to finagle it but its now 4 AM and I can't get anywhere.

yes, I have a whole list of php files that I want visitors to gain access to.

They are not old articles, they are not new. SO I want another module listing them so they don't have to be mixed up with "your account" and all the opther typical module php files.

any suggestions?

I created a new block using sample_block but when I listed the files and clicked on one of them I got a message about not being able to directly access the files

You could upload the files to a module like content or sections. Content comes with a block that lists the last 10 submissions. Will that work for you, or am I not understanding what you want it to do?

I have php-nuke 6.5.

"Waiting content" is a block unto itself but it has other stuff listed there like submissions.

And "Content" itself is just a module listed in the modules block underneath "AvantGo" and just above "Downloads".

No I want a seperate block listing only the files I put there. I want people to be able to click on these files and be taken to the php file they chose.

Is there any way to do this?

Go into blocks, look in the drop down menu for one called content. If it isn't there, check in downloads for one, I'm sure we have one listed in there, or you could also try over at www.nukestyles.com I believe they have one listed.
