I am having the same problem with a totally fresh install of nuke 6.8 and only in one theme. The forums load fine with a default theme but wont load with my subBlack3D theme.
When in subBlack3D I can access the forums admin area fine and set everything up, I have set up the configuration and created some topics, set permissions etc which all work in the default nuke themes. But when I go to the forums while in the SubBlack3D theme the site hangs during loading.
I'm not getting any error messages, just no page so Im at a total loss.
In the subBlack3D theme directory there is a directory called forums. Does anyone know if that directory is fine to leave where it is in the themes directory as supplied or do I have to move it/rename it and place it in the modules/Forums/templates directory?
Docs with the theme are sketchy on this..
it simply says this: "The forum style has been modded to work better with the theme, so please use the one included." |

I tried uploading the subBblack3d "forums" directory to Forums/templates/subBlack3d
then I found a fix for the forums issue with the "styles admin" and got that working.
After uploading the subBlack3d forum files to forums/templates I went to "Add" in the styles admin and it found subBlack3d listed. I added it and then went to the forum config page and set "subBlack3d" as the theme.
After that I got errors on every forum or admin page about it not being able to find the subBlack3d.cfg , I tried creating one but then it couldnt find other files so I eventually had to edit the database tables to remove subblack3d and reset the style to subsilver.
Can anyone help me get the forums working in subBlack3d ?
I have searched through the forums and found nothing that helped, tried and tried all day messing around with it but Im going round in circles.. |

I am having a similar problem. Nuke ver 6.8 with standard bb v 2.0.6. Tried to make a new theme similar to Dune for bb and got things pretty invisible, reverted to subSilver by resetting default_theme to 1.
Everything mostly works on Internet explorer, and the bb admin page works on Netscape but the forum page comes up blank in Netscape 7.1. When I look at source <HEAD></HEAD><BODY></BODY> is all that is there!
Anybody have any ideas?
I did install 4nForums which did not work on 6.8, and have it deactivated now. (could not find uninstall instructrions)
Any guidance would be appreciated. |

Another thing: Private Messages and Members List do the same thing - Works ok on IE, blank screen on Netscape.
All the other modules work fine.
Help!

Sorry about the piecemeal, but I am still debugging.
I get this error on IE:
Warning: ob_start(): output handler 'ob_gzhandler' cannot be used twice in /home/teds/public_html/includes/page_header.php on line 96

I uploaded the styles to the /root/templates , after I did that it worked fine, maybe someone has a commend on that? |
