How come when I click on the Forums in my main menu it takes me to the forums%modules instead of forums.html ?
I am using that Sommaire menu add-on but i don't think that would be the issue?
I have the latest GT files (htaccess, header, footer)
TIA |

In my complete forums tap post I included how to add the forums.html conversion a little ways into the topic. It actually requires adding the conversion, at the time of the complete forums tap, I had not been completely comfortable adding that last conversion, once I was about 99% sure I resolved all forum links, I added the forums.html conversion to the tap. Here is the link for the post:
http://www.nukecops.com/postt7165.html
Hope that helps some of you out.
If you are using the default Google Tap for the forums, using my conversion code with your default settings will not work, you will have to replace the forums code with mine in the header.php and the .htaccess file for it to work correctly.

I dont know why my code is not in the cvs google tap files, that is a decision made by the admins and the developers of google tap.
I just contribute to help out others, if they choose to use or not use the code, that is up to them, if you go to the test site I use the code at http://test.audioslaved.com.
You can look around for yourself, maybe create a test account and then see if it is 100%. As far as I know, I got everything. One of the reasons I posted it was to get other peoples input in case it was not 100%. That way, we could find anything I could not alone, and then I could update it and make it 100%. It's easier when a couple of people provide input rather than me doing it all myself. As far as I know, I did not miss any links in the forums tap. Maybe others can post any links I may have missed. Hope that answers your question. See ya.

Has anyone got "Display Topics from Previous "last 7 Days going?
It is a "Drop Down menu" at the bottom of a selected forum
It allows you to filter the selected forum based on days, months, years
Since I GT'd, it dont work . I have tried to find the link in the source to trim; but no luck as of yet
Anyone else?
do I have to modify my php to have to have a "order" like just below this text? |

jimmorrison, I added a seperate rewrite rule to my tap and it did not seem to help, it only seems to work for 3 months and above, using 1 day, 7 days, 2 weeks, 1 month, does not seem to produce the desired results. I see that this forum has the same problem, I will look into the code of the forum and see what I can find.
I will let you know what I find, and also the rewrite rule for it.

I downloaded a distribution of phpbb from phpbb.com, i looked through the viewforum_body.tpl and the viewforum.php and did not see any difference between the Nuke one on the CVS and the PHPBB one. Perhaps, my version is outdated compared to the nukecops release. I will have to update and see what happens. If it works then, at least I know it was something with the version I was using. 2.0.5 |
