I want to make a new theme for my site but existing themes have so many settings all configured and stuff already.

Is there a blank template around somewhere, or beginners guide?

I'm trying to modify the helius theme but it seems a bit difficult for me.

http://www.wowcentral.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account&op=chgtheme

If you go there, and load the helius theme....
then go to

http://www.wowcentral.com/nook2 you'll see my attempt in changing the helius theme.

you can use this temp account: wingus pass: snatch
to log in and stuff.

While, I think I'm doing "OKAY" I think I could be doing better if there was a more simple theme I c ould start with.

Thanks for the link. That's a great tutorial and all, but I have the graphics creation down just fine. My problem comes mainly from the CSS files and all of the classes within that already have values and stuff assigned to them.

It would be nice to find documentation for the nuke themes...or if there was a blank nuke theme that had some documentation. ie, which classes do what and stuff like that.

You could try looking around over at http://mtechnik.net/php he's the guy who made that theme tutorial, he may have some other info on the site or in the forums. Not sure though, Smile

Every time I click their theme shop link, it just refreshes the page.

I hate websites that REQUIRE membership just to view anything. what's the point of flooding your dbase with hundreds of members that come and go?
**sigh** I just signed up and the link doesn't do anything different..I guess I'llhve to poke around some more Confused

hmm creating tutorials/howtos/guide does take alot of time so pal start respecting the person who gives alot of time to make your life on net easier, or in the near future we will see that there will be alot of beginners and lack of howto's
