Thanks.. might have a look at using this IP list to exclude from hit count.. I reckon they're adding around 200 hits a day to my counter.

That is wierd that you are getting 200 hits a day from them, when they are programed to search each site every 4-7 days...

I don't know how often they hit or what not but I have between 4-9 google bots on my site evey day all day

Yes.. googlebots there sometimes up to 12 at a time for a good few hours.
