Like the title says, I dl'ed and installed the latest snapshot today, and updated my database using nukesql.php, but it wont let me submit news. Could this be a problem only in the snapshot, or what?? Not too sure myself. Or could it be a permissions thing??

Have the same problem with betaNC-20030908.

The nukesql.php won't even run.

But when I create a new test database from the nuke.sql file, the submit news works. Maybe the nukesql.php did not properly update the database in your case?

Anyway, I'll give the latest snapshot a try later.

While doing the database upgrade I got this error
Code:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/badger/public_html/arc/nukesql.php:4090) in /home/badger/public_html/arc/mainfile.php on line 192
PHP-Nuke 6.7 to NC Bundle upgrade finished!

You should now delete this upgrade file from your server. Now go to your website.

But It did say the upgrade was finished, so I assumed it would be ok?? Perhaps not!

I started out with bNC 6.5 from the downloads section. I've been updating it with the snapshots every couple of days or so.

When I updated to the snapshot "updated to 6.8 core", I started experiencing the problem with news not getting posted after being approved. I tried to upgrade the database using the nukesql.php, but it would not run.

Finally, I saved the db from the admin control panel. I wiped out my FoxServ (apache, php, mysql) and reinstalled it. I loaded the saved db and now could run nukesql.php.

I picked the option upgrade from 6.5 to NC bundle, and I got this error:

Code:
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at c:\foxserv\www\betanc910\nukesql.php:3134) in c:\foxserv\www\betanc910\mainfile.php on line 192
PHP-Nuke 6.5 to NC Bundle upgrade finished!

But, upon checking the database, I found that it now contains 109 tables, increased from the original 98 (I think, but I don't recall exactly).

The news approval now works. I haven't checked if anything else is broken, though.

Hmm, ok, so basically you wiped all clean and started from fresh and now all is well?

OK I upped the latest snap (13th September) and tried the database upgrade again. I even purged all cookies, and deleted all offline content from IE, and it still wont work Sad I have reported this as a bug zx, but It's not looking good Neutral
