Recently had performed upgrade of nuke to current 6.9. Upgrade went without a hitch, including some pesky unexpected parse errors. However, did find, that as an <B>ADMIN</B> - am unable to change themes (REGED user can change themes without probs).
Any suggestions? Seems that I have posted this query in different areas to no avail
Thanks! |

Are the themes showing in there for you to change them? Are you getting any errors on your site? If so please post the exact error and where it is appearing. |

the themes are showing listed in the admin's preferences panel....and i am able to select a theme, HOWEVER, it always revert the theme that was on prior to the upgrade. No error messages are showing. |

Are you able to change it as a regular user through your account/themes? |

Try this.
Dump your cookies. Go directly to www.yoursite.com/admin.php and login, go backinto preferences and see if you can change it. Only be logged in as admin though, not as a regular user.
Are you having problems with anything else saving in preferences? |

Have you modified header.php or been playing with your themes at all? |

No I have not...the only 'playing' is that of trying to change the theme....nothing else.
This inability to change themes as ADMIN came at the time i upgrade nuke versions...perhaps/perhaps not this is the culprit...i cannot say nor am i finding anyone else which has come across this same problem, much less a solution.

Don't be so sure
I upgraded from 6.0 to NC6.5 enhancedbundle and I have the same problem - though it doesnt affect me since my site has a fixed theme (and I have removed the change theme option) - but as an Admin, no, I can't change themes to test them either.

I am having a similar problem, I think except I haven't upgraded the Nuke version (6.5) but upgraded the phpBB version to 2.0.6. I can upload the files with no problems. The new theme or style shows up to be installed. I install it with no problems. I can even select it with no problems. The forum admin panel will change to what I want but the regular forums stay as subSilver no matter what I try.
Anyone got any ideas as to how I can fix this? Appreciate any help I can get. Thanks. |

Have you installed any of the more recent snaps?
sanpaku
I know that I've seen this issue or a similar issue somewhere on the forums before, I can't seem to find the solution now. I'm going to ask that some of the other staff take a look, and we'll see if we can't resolve the issue. |
