When posting comments in news stories, I'm getting errors about "Permission denied" for opening ultamode.txt but the message still posts though but it is annoying.

Has anyone else seen this or is it just me?

I've posted and haven't seen errors... can you help me duplicate your steps?

1. Browsing the News on the main page, I click the "comments" link in the news story.
2. Click the "Post comment" button
3. I typed my message and clicked the "ok" button, then I get a white page with the following erros:

Quote:

Warning: fopen(ultramode.txt): failed to open stream: Permission denied in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/nukecops/mainfile.php on line 560

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/nukecops/mainfile.php on line 561

Warning: fwrite(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/nukecops/mainfile.php on line 571

Warning: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/nukecops/mainfile.php on line 573

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /usr/local/apache/htdocs/nukecops/mainfile.php:560) in /usr/local/apache/htdocs/nukecops/modules/News/comments.php on line 853

These are my exact steps.

I think so.

I havent had any problems with the comments.

ZX: I like the new set up on the reply of the comments. It makes it alot easier to read all of the replys!

Its hard to fix a bug if it cannot be replicated. Sad

Just a quick update:

I've logged out, deleted cookies, cleared cache, and logged back in and I still got these errors with the past 3 messages I posted.

Whoa, we have to get this... I'm in cisco training this week, so its hard to believe I'm even here right now. When I'm on this weekend, can you re-bump this up as a reminder for me?
