im new to learning php-nuke and i've downloaded phpnuke version 6 and uploaded the files onto my web site and have made an sql database and i think i need to start configuring it, but i could be wrong. if somebody would help me or would be willing to setup to where i could start configuring myself or show me what to do or something me and my head would greatly appreciate it!!!!

in reply to ur post, i've already refered to the idiot's guide and its just that when i try loading config.php it doesn't come up so i dont know if i uploaded it correctly or what. im not familiar with php-nuke at all. im desperare for anybodys help!

Loading config.php? as in pointing your browser to it? why?

i dunno y its not working. i've even tried using this add-on where its a web install and it sets it up automatically and that didnt work either. i have a feeling its not uploaded correctly or is missing files or sumthing of that corrupted nature. i could be wrong but thats just what i think. any suggestions on any possible solutions?

ok i figured out how to make me an admin.....it was right in front of me the whole time. however i still have a few line errors like the one below and was curious of how to resolve that issue. i think after that everything else is looking good.....

I had similar problems; I hope you are also upgrading your db from older versions. The solution is to upgrade your db by using the script that are supplied with the new version of phpnuke.

I hope this helps you.

i got it working correctly...i just re-uploaded it to my web server and its working like a charm. any recommendations on setting up a online shop?
