OK. I just installed PHPNuke 6.5 via my hosts fantastico in the CPanel. It works awesome!
Anyways, I have a phpbb forum that i wanted to bring in to replace the empty phpbb board in phpnuke. I ran the analyze script, and it says that i have 2.0.2, and that the latest version was 2.0.4. The forum that I want to import is 2.0.5.
So...I tried the the phpbbforums2phpnuke scripts and it did not work I got this error:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I checked the error log, and it said:
[2003-08-20 14:59:56]: error: file is writable by others: (/home2/eminenc/public_html/cgi-bin/phpBBusers2nukeusers.pl)
I did chmod the file to 755.
Now how would I go about doing this? Where would I start?

Try this site and get the script that they support. It's PHP and not PERL
Important.... make sure to back up your files (also the db, but more importantly the files).
I tried running the script on that page to upgrade my 2.0.6 phpbb to Nuke and it gave me a host of errors, and did something bad to the files... I restored from backup.
Finally said, "^@#^@# this" and COPIED the old threads into nuke. I only had like 20-30 to do, as the forum is young still. If you're particularly lazy, or the threads are many pages long, just put a link to the forum, and in the forum folder put an index.html saying GOTO THE NUKE forum. That'll take care of all the traffic, and you can still access the old forum by goign to index.php.
It ain't pretty, but I'm sick of being stuck on this.
