after putting html into a block and activating it .. you lose everthing except the right side blocks on you site... and when you select the admin nothing happens.. well I thought no problem I would just delete the block via the ftp.. well it wasn't there.. so right now i am stumped.. guys any idea's on how to get things back.. or at least get back into the admin.. again no matter what i try the admin will not show or work.

What HTML code did you add? You created a block from within admin right?

He PM'd me over at my site. I had him fix it by going into the Database under nuke_blocks and delete the "bad" block. Worked.
