phpnuke.org will probably be down till FB's finished the final release of nuke 6.5. Unless I'm mistaken about it being FB who has to sort the site out that is.

surely he's not going to shutdown his entire site until 6.5 is done? YIKES. I thought that was the whole purpose of him dropping the Forums until the slowdown issue was resolved.
Surely he has a testsite somewhere that he can iron out the problems on and leave phpnuke.org up, just without the Forums...hmmm

well this morning he re-enabled the forums on phpnuke.org and within an hour the whole site was down.
Judging by his news post that I just happened to read as the site slowed down to a halt, he was near finished anyway, just waiting to see if Tom could shed any light on the slow forum problem.
Also, wiht all the stress of getting Nuke 6.5 out the door, maybe his priorities have gone awry.
I'm just guessing here of course about why phpnuke.org's still down.

Yes, I'm logged in but it still seems slow ( I know, massive amount of users there). Took 44 seconds to load the forums index there. Trying to get into Installations brought up "The page cannot be displayed" error. |

Noticed one other thing, normally you'd get a yellow icon onthreads that have new posts (that has always worked erratically for me at phpnuke.org, i would go into a forum, see like 10 threads with new posts, go into one then when i went back to the list all yellow icons would be gone as if i had read all) now, i see the yellow icons, enter a thread, go back to the list and the yellow icon is still there on all threads even if i have viewed them already damn, pass a carrot this way. |

it's not even letting me post on there any more. "You cannot post a new message this soon after your last"
How soon? it was the first damn message of the day. How does FB expect ppl to fix other ppls problems like we do when he's got a day's limit between posts? either that or he's broken the forums - AGAIN.
