Hello,
I hope you can help.
I have a sister site that I installed the NC bundle on.
I would like the set up the automatic update. (CVS)
Ok, my server says:
Quote:

Yes, we allow you to add cron jobs for your master ftp user. Inside your home directory is a directory called 'etc'. You need to enter the jobs you would like to have run by cron in the proper format in a file named 'crontab'.

What do I put inside this crontab file?

??????????
I am cluless. What do I do?
Any help is most appreciated.

Hi Lonnie, if you check I have a shell script available in the shell script folder. You should be able to run that from cron. I'm waiting for more folks to test it as its still "beta".

Hello,
ok I added the script to a cronjob file and placed it where it needs to go.
How do I know If it is working?
Will the files show the uploaded date?

Lonnie

You can check

http://cvs.nukecops.com/history.txt

And check one of those files to see if its revision matches.

Or, you can run it manually and see if anything gets updated. That is preferred, just to ensure the thing works since its still beta. I need feedback to properly release it.
