I was attempting to upgrade from PHPNuke 6.5 to 6.8. First, I ran the script for 6.5 to 6.6, then 6.6 to 6.7, found in the upgrade folder. However, it didn't really seem to do much, so being the awesome idiot I am, I decided to upload all the other files and sql table, and then try to run the 6.7 to 6.8 script. I never got to run it, because this is the error I receive.

Fatal error: Call to undefined function: message_die() in /home/virtual/site28/fst/var/www/html/db/db.php on line 88

Sad Can anyone help me?

This means your MySQL parameters are not correct in config.php. Make sure that config.php is in the same folder as mainfile.php.

Raven-

When I uploaded all the new files, I wrote over the config. So, to fix it I now just re-uploaded my backed up config, and my site works again! Is this gonna mess with the upgrade? Should I not do this?

Before uploading the new config.php you need to edit its settings exactly as they were in the old one.

As long as you just overwrote config.php you are ok.
