Hi everyone,

This forum seemed like the bes place to ask this as I know there are some real nuke experts here.

I want to customise a nuke site and remove a number of modules.

Is it safe to remove these and how exactly do I do it without messing up the site ?

The modules I want to remove completely are :-

FAQ
Journal
Reviews
Webmail
Downloads
Encyclopedia

Can anyone help ?

Thanks

Sean

I would think so.
Just copy them outside the modules folder and then delete.
That way they are still there somewhere to be put back.

Whatever you do, I would NOT delete any files and or folders in the folder admin where the folders for links, case and modules are !!!
You might finish up whithout access to anything.

You can transfer folders in the modules folder, that modules folder that is in the root of the phpNuke setup!

No need to remove/move files
Just go to the admin interface, select Modules and deactivate the modules you do not like to be available to your users at this time - - after all PhpNuke is a CMS....
