On it's way. Sorry for the delay, I didn't notice that there was a new page of messages on the thread until just now.
Thanks for your help! |

(Edited to remove misunderstanding of Raven's response to freeby.)
Raven - Can you send, link or post some information about how the forum users and admins are setup? Right now I only have one Nuke admin ID with a matching userid. As far as I can tell, there are no users or admins configured for the forums, but I don't understand how the group/user ID numbers in phpBB are linked with the user names in Nuke.
For now, I'll go ahead and do some debugging on my own. I originally was checking the forum out to see if it was a known problem with a quickie fix.
Thx,
BC |

Go into Forum Admin, under User Management, and make the user a site admin down at the bottom. |

How do I get into Forum Admin if the Forum admin screen (modules/Forums/admin/index.php) doesn't display? My issue at this point is that it looks like I need a back-door to get a user set up so that I can get into the forum admin screen.
Still debugging though. |

So nuke=>Administration Panel=>Forums doesn't work? The use phpMyAdmin and edit the users table and set the user_level to 2. |

No that wasn't it either. I had copied config.php to another directory for the security fix and used a new config.php with an include statement, without adding that directory in the include_path in php.ini.
I finally found the php error log and it was giving errors trying to load the original config.php file.
What threw me off was that everything else was working fine. In 6.0, when I had a similar issue because of a tilde in the include_path, it made all of PHPNuke fail.
Anyway, I'm in now, so I can peel another layer off of the onion.
Thanks for all of your time. |
