I can log in as admin on my site and do everything I want, but I cant log on as admin in my forum. When I post I am a newbie. I know this seems like a daft question but I can't figure it out. Any ideas guys. |

Use phpMyAdmin. Edit the nuke_users table for your record. Set user_level to 2. |

That is the only way that Admins are assigned to Forums in Nuke. Please post a link to analyzer and also the user name you are expecting to be an admin. |

I think I have the same underlying problem, but I want to confirm:
My scenario is that I've created a PHP-Nuke admin ID and it accesses all the other admin modules fine. When I go to the "Forums" admin screen (modules/Forums/admin/index.php), I get a blank screen. If I view the page source, all I get is some minimal HTML.
My understanding of the solution is that I have to go to nuke_users and set user_level=2 for the admin ID.
Perhaps modules/Forums/admin/index.php should be modified to display a message if a user isn't authorized. If the user is a SuperUser level admin, it would refer to the phpMyAdmin solution, otherwise it would just display a "you are not authorized" type message. |

That is not always the solution. The blank screen can be different things. Please post links to conntest and analyzer scripts. Link to d/l in my sig. |

I'm behind a firewall, so I'll send you the Analyzer output. I don't have conntest. Is it available here on nukecops? |

Amazing what a little highlighting will do for my eyesight.
Here's the output from conntest. The output from analyzer is pretty huge, so I'm wondering if I can upload it to you.
Conntest:
==snip==
If everything looks good, but you still have problems, get the analyzer from NukeCops
