Just upgraded a 6.0 site to a 6.5 site. Everything seems copasetic, except when I enter the admin.php area, no links for various admin tasks. If I type in the appropraite op=xxxxx on the command line, it works; i.e., the access is there; just no menu.
It makes no difference which theme I use, nor which admin account I use (I deleted all the existing authors and made a new one...no dice.)
It seems to be pulling the files from admin/links/* fine; I put in some error-checking and see the loop reading the files, but no menu.
Hmmm.
Thoughts, anyone?

I would try reuploading your admin.php file. It doesn't appear that it is functioning correctly.
I haven't edited the admin.php file (this time, anyway). Checked out fine, didn't see any wierd things going on with it, checked permissions, blah, blah. Finally untarred the distribution and copied the stock admin.php into the directory, and voila.
I don't understand. But then again, if it works now, I don't NEED to.
