When I try to change themes in preferences from the admin menu, the theme doesn't change.
However, I accessed my site from a different computer as a user and it had changed to the theme I selected from the admin menu.
Any suggestions as to why this is happening?

Log out as a user before changing the theme in preferences else you will keep seeing the theme you have selected in the Your Account module, in other words changing the theme in preferences will not change the theme for registered users.
