They always have downloads for 6.7 or 6.8 and it is really 6.5 and lots of the downloads for modules or scripts never have the author...it bothers me.

Well, that's what happens when FB limits distribution. It causes "blackmarket" copies to show up. As we saw already, it's very easy for anyone to insert malicious code to leave the door unlocked for him later.
It doesn't matter if you know the site or not. Who is going to spend many, many hours going through the code of an entire release? No one. How can you be sure they got their copy from the original source? You can't. It's easy when it's a single module or block but an entire release -- no way.

one thing that p***** me off is they say its 6.7 or what ever and its another earlier version all together...i just dont download from them...for anything
