I'm pretty sure this doesn't belong here, but my question has rotted away in the 'themes' forum for days without a nibble. I hoped this would catch some attention:
I assume you mean you want the line break <b>not to be at the top of the page</b>? Try looking in the <b>header.php</b> file for whatever theme you have and remove
Code:
<BR>
if it's the 1st line in the <b>header.php</b> file.
I think this might work, anyone else got any suggestions?

Hello Master-V,
Thanks for the response; I thought nobody would ever try to help!
I'm trying to get rid of the intial line break at the top left corner of the browser in this screen shot (I did a "Select All" in the browser to highlight the empty text area):
I am using "NuekNews" as the base for modifications. I have searched header.php, theme.php, banner.php, etc. I found one instance of a leading break in one of the files (don't remember which one) but removing it didn't do the trick...

I found it! It was actually in themes/NukeNews/header.html
I was working on a copy in a different directory, but part of the original code pointed back to to NukeNews.
Sorry if I wasted anyones time on such a stupid thing... Mods, fell free to delete this if you like.
