Hi people,

I'm using phpnuke now for over 5 years for a clan site. Until now everything was ok, all hacks tried on my side where blocked by sentinal etc.etc. But the last few mounts now i have the following problem, i hope anybody know i solution for this.

Hackers/scripters are using a script/tool that is able to bypass my security code section. Every day i see 10/20 users being created. These users stay in my user_temp sql database and i delete them because my mailserver is saying "can't deliver mail to ...." (the mail adresses used are bogus).

What i can't understand is how do they by-pass my security code (it always worked fine). Is this a known issue and if so how can i change/fix this. Thanks for the help.

Here is my website http://www.se-easy.net

And it's an 7.6 installation (all fixes applied) running for more then a year now.

I recommend that you install bbantispam or Advanced Textual Confirmation, that stops all types of spam in PHP-Nuke. I have not had a single spam since I installed it one year ago, although guests are allowed to post in the forum. bbantispam works in that way that one have to answer a simple question prior posting or registering. Note that it best and simplest to put the installation code in config.php.
