Default Avatar

Been away for nuke for awhile but I just started up another site and have a problem with default avatars. Basically there is not any. All I get is a red x if you have not chosen a avatar. The link to the red is this: http://www.website.com/modules/Forums/images/avatars/

Its not pulling off an actually name? Can someone tell me what .php file is calling this so maybe I can put an actaull .gif file associated with it? or is there another fix?

Well I noticed that I only have a red x in the forums if I make an account using the admin panel. If you register normally you only have a red x in your profile but its blank on the forums just like it is here? Is there any known mod that will install a default avatar? The one from a few years back does not work.....
