I'm an old HTMLer. PHP newbie. Wanted to start a community bb portal. Tried Nuke w/Deep Blue theme. Want to put my own code in the homepage and so on. Can see the homepage code when I "view source", from a browser. But cannot find which files have what code. Very frustrated. Someone said to look in themes like ya do in Wordpress. No such luck. Confused
If your interested my site is, http://www.talkoftulsa.com/index.php
Any clues? Should someone like me just bail out and try another community blog program?

Well it depends on exactly what you want to edit. You'd have to be provide us more information

The theme files control most of the look of the site. The header, the footer, the block designs.

The blocks (left, right, center-up, center-down) are code from the blocks files. And the center is controlled by the module, whichever module you selected from the menu.
