I installed PHPNuke 8.0 and set it up. It comes with 2.0.20 of BBtoNuke installed with it. I foolishly upgraded to phpbb2.0.22. In doing so i have jacked up the forums so that member, when a member clicks on a topic it marks all new topics read. I have tried to install BBtoNuke 2.0.22 but i keep getting DB query errors saying i cant do it.
My question is there a way to repair the mess I have created. I really would prefer not having to redo everything. Are there tables i can remove that were associated with the upgrades... is there a simple patch i could run that i have not found.... am i completely doomed until 3.0.0 is made available to PHPNuke.
Any help or incite would be much appreciated. |

I don't even know how you would get the original phpBB to run in phpNuke. It really shouldn't be changing your database at all
Delete all your forums files and replace them with the ones from your phpNuke package. And then update your files with the BBToNuke ones. |

I made a backup of my current Forums folder. Then deleted all files in the Forums folder. I then uploaded fresh files from the PHPNuke 8.0 zip file. Then uploaded the BBtoNuke 2.0.22 into the Forums folder and went to the upgrade21-22.php this is the errors i am getting.
I have edited the beginning of the file path so i don't get hackers.

Done. The upgrade worked that time.
Sadly this has not fixed the problem with when there are many unread posts, reading one post.... even just browsing topics marks all unread topics read.
Has anyone experienced this on there forums? Have you found a way to fix it? |
