Phpnuke is not allowing any HTML TAGS to work with my Nuke: my allowable tags are currently

// DO NOT TOUCH ANYTHING BELOW THIS LINE UNTIL YOU KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING

$AllowableHTML = array("img"=>2,"tr"=>1,"td"=>2,"table"=>2,"div"=>2,"p"=>2,"hr"=>1,"b"=>1,"i"=>1,"strike"=>1,"u"=>1,"font"=>2,"a"=>2,"em"=>1,"br"=>1,"strong"=>1,"blockquote"=>1,"tt"=>1,"li"=>1,"ol"=>1,"ul"=>1,"center"=>1);
// Nuke Patched 3.3

?>

As a result of this i can not preview or post article with any html tage in it. for example it doent allow <BR\ > which is necessary to break the lines in the text.

I would appreciate any help please. By the way i am using 7.6 pached with 3.3

If you don't mind, can you remove the censorlist from you post?

The $allowable_html is used in many, but not all, places. Where specifically are you having problems?

Glad it's resolved - for future reference, what was the problem?

kbgus,

may be I'm not explaning myself clearly. the problem was that, I have phpnuke 7.6 patched 3.3. The site had been working nicely for the past 6months and all of sudden I couldnt POST OR PREVIEW news from the admin section when a user submits news. I find out that phpnuke was not allowing ANY html tags in the post. for example, if I remove all the html tags from the submitted news, i could preview or post. obviously you need tags like <BR> or <a href > to make new or article more presentable.

after several conversations with Evaders99 from http://evaders.swrebellion.com he suggested that i should consult my hosting company.

after numerous conversations with my hosting company, It's was a server-security issue. my hosting company may have installed something blocking certain HTML tags with programs. They looked at the issue and did something at their end, and i'm happy to say that it's now working.

I hope this make sense.

Yes, thanks! That's pretty strange - I haven't seen anything like after many years of hosting with many hosts. But I'm glad it's resolved.
