So I noticed this thread is long and also has not been posted on in some time, but...
I ran with Comcast's Internet for a long time - then Verizon's Fios came to town and I made the switch.
My Website has been up for years and has worked fine; until the switch.
I can not send registration e-mails to people who sign up on my site. I went into the php.ini and changed the SMTP options, I changed the options in the Admin section of the forums and nothing worked.
So I tired this fix, and after doing the "mailhack.php" configuration (rather than just editing the mainfile.php) it worked - I sent out e-mails just fine, but for some reason it was still sending with my comcast.net email rather than the one I wanted it to - but that didn't bother me much, I was just glad it sent an e-mail.
So thinking I was done, I went and re-sent all the registration e-mails that had not sent, everything worked, but then I clicked on my forums and Boom! gone, disappeared. All the other Mods and addons on the site worked fine, and the admin section came up - but when I went to click on the Forums admin section BOOM again, gone - Firefox just said "Done" and nothing showed up.
I see in previous posts that only 1 other person received this type of "error" but never went into it. I removed the mailhack.php from my mainfile.php and everything comes back up - but not the ability to send e-mails.
I am using 7.8 of Nuke and 2.0.15 of phpBB.
I can do anything I want server side of my website, so if there is any help you can offer me, it would be much appreciated.
Thank You,
