Something is amiss with such simple instructions for install.

$directory="modules/WinAmpiX/music/media_lib/"; I think not necessary but verify.
$sitename="http://www.allTheWindows.com"; You must, replace with your site name without ‘/’ at the end
$filename = 'modules/WinAmpiX/playlist/playlist.m3u'; Playlist file , I think not nessecary.

Problem is $sitename - i put in the correct info - without slash and tried with slash as well. Still when i select the demo, the winamp box opens and shows streaming from http://localhost/blahblah.

Sadly, tried to query the author however as i do not speak french, its a tad hard to get my point across.

Any suggestions?

TIA!

PS: in my site info it would read http://yourdomain.com/test/

I downloaded and installed this module on a nuke 8.0 site and had no problems with it at all

Upload the winampix directory to the modules directory of your site

Go to admin.php modules and activate it.

Use a decent text editor to edit the config file (I only needed to change the sitename but include the subdirectory if your site is in one without a trailing slash e.g
Code:
$sitename="http://www.yoursite.com/test";

Upload the modified file to your site so as to replace the existing version

Then play with it
