Assuming you're using a recent BBToNuke, the option should be in your Forums Configuration

Something is REALLY not right.

Last night i turned the captcha code thing off and on in the admin panel of the forum and that didn't work. I figured maybe there was a problem that needed a reset. Didn't do a thing.

Then this morning I see that I have someone new logged on after, as a last resort, I made the new registration process have to be admin approved.

I woke up this morning and now I have two more spammers on my site with names like opDDgQvPSH. Did they open some kind of back door to my forum?

Users can't even register through your forums. They are redirected to a bad URL
http://purplygrotto.com/modules.php?name=Your_Account&redirect=profile&mode=editprofile

Looks like you need to fix your domain setting in your Forums Configuration

To add the security code for Your_Account logins, you have to enable it in config.php

i just signed up for a new account and it directed me to the right place.

i've got two non-working similar issues:
the captcha's not working (going to try what you said)
the admin approval system not working either

thanks for working with me on this!

- Need to enable the security code in config.php
- phpNuke does not use the forums account settings, you'll need to install the Approve Membership mod

thanks for working with me on this! When you said Forums Configuration I went to the admin section of the forums and clicked on the configuration link...this did nothing!

Now that you named the file it worked like a charm!!!!
