I have just installed 7.9 and want rid of the HTML coding box. In previous versions of Nuke and even on Plantnum which I run on another site, i use the same coding to show a image in a table.
But with 7.9 it just doesn't work. I looked around and could only find a couple of people saying how it doesn't work but I'm just wondering is it possible just to dump that option. I changed the config.php file to turn off the WSYN?? or what ever its called and made no difference

If youve only just installed then I strongly recomend you scrap it now before you go too far and use 7.6 patched instead.
7.7 and above have more issues than simply the wysiwyg editor and are very unstable.
If you feel you have gone too far then post back as there are some javascript edits that you can make to disable the editor but it will save me having to find them if you take the first part of advice.
Instead of omitting everything all together, why not just add the tags that you need to your config.php file ? Open your config and find the $AllowableHTML array and replace what you have there with something like this
