hi again, I'm having other problems recently and one of my clients is pretty angry ...

it's the second time it happens in a month: suddenly the main theme changes plus some hidden blocks appear, and this time , the forums are no longuer displayable. No files were changed, the db looks ok and no one touched the preferences, I don't know what to do here ...

In january I posted a topic about some recurent errors in the articles publishing time & date, and apparently it was because of the hoster www.oxito.com. Is it their fault again ?

Wow I don't understand what your forums is doing. It is putting everything in large font.

What version are you using? Is it Patched?

I can't find the version of the portal .... but i downloaded it in august and it was the latest at the time. The forums are not patched.
this is very strange and my client is going to kill me. If you have any ideas let me know !

p.s : the welcome message has also disapeared, the hoster says their machines are working perfectly and that it has to do with the php nuke configuration, but as far as I'm concerned I haven't touched any files in more than a month and my client tells me he hasn't done anything in th admin pannel... since the portal is used by an association of teachers I was wondering if by any chance an angry pupil could have triggered this ?

I've deleted all the php nuke files and replaced them with virgin one : everything works except for the forums, the font of everything is huge, and no matter the css or the tpl files it won't change.

Apparently the problem lies in the database, but how could this happen? I'm mean how can the database influence in anyway the layout of a page?

The html used to be allowed in the forums, I managed to disable it but i don't know if this option is retroactive.

has anyone seen this before ?

Can you disable that?

I disabled it and it's a bit better: the blocks on the forums are normal now, but the font is still huge on the main frame.
