Hi all,

since a few days our site comes up with a warning when language will be changed or coockies deleted:

Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at wwwroot/index.php:2) in wwwroot/mainfile.php on line 186

After pressing F5 (refresh) the warning disappears.
All registered users will see the warning if they change theire language.

If You google for: "Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /index.php:2) in mainfile.php on line"
You will find a lot PHP Nuke pages with the same error.

I searched the Forum up and down, and finally did try the .htaccess file with "PHP_FLAG output_buffering on" in nuke root, but then the site is not loaded anymore.
Is there any fix for this warning message ?
By the way, we are running V7.0.

Thanks as usual for your help
Cheers

Ask your host whether you can use PHP_FLAG in .htaccess
If not, then you'll have to ask your host to enable this PHP configuration for you

Thx for the fast help Evaders99.

It wasn't relating to output_buffering, after we have contacted our server administrator he replied to us with a fault in index.php file.

I have edited the index.php a couple of days ago and added our favicon shortcut direct at the beginning between <html><head> tags, before the php code started. That's why it gave the warning "headers already sent".

Strange it is, but it granted my experience and was because of my own nonsense.
But once again Thx
Cheers
