I've been trying to install Kalendar Mx 1.4 on my PHP-Nuke 7.6 site for a couple of days, and have hit a stumbling block. Although the module does show up in my Admin screen, and I can click on the "Kalendar" link in my modules list to go to the main calendar page, I'll get this under the links for Event Submissions, etc.:

Quote:

Database-Error!

goto Setup

The "goto Setup" is a link that just leads me to a blank page.

I have double-checked the sketchy English directions -- made sure the proper directories are 777 and that PHP safe_mode is set to OFF. The PHP version on my host's server is 4.4.0. Is Kalendar 1.4 just not compatible with PHP-Nuke 7.6?

I have set Kalendar up under 7.6 with very few problems before - have not seen the error you are talking about.

Okay, so now at least I know it can be done. That's a start. Thanks. Smile

Hi
What i did was to delete my other calander I was using in phpmyadmin so as to avoid conflicts.
Have you uploaded the sql file in phpmyadmin?
You also need to run
http://yourdomain.com/admin.php?op=CalSetup
I got the database error until i ran the above
Hope this helps
Jeff
P.S. If you have nukephp in a subdirectory it would be
http://yourdomain.com/subdirectory/admin.php?op=CalSetup
jeff

Im getting the blank screen also -- what did you do to solve it?

Edit - I had to remove a previous calander from the mods dir (no tables) and then activate the kalender module before I could do the setup.

Now for question 2... how do I change the display name in the module panel from Kalender to Calendar?

Log in to your Admin and select Modules, find Kalendar in modules and click on edit and then change the name to what you want
