Ok so for some reason when a user clicks on on the Forum link on the left side under modules it sends the user to a blank page.

I've turned error reporting on and this is the error message I get.

Warning: main(./extension.inc) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/homebuil/public_html/modules/Forums/index.php on line 25

Warning: main() [function.include]: Failed opening './extension.inc' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/homebuil/public_html/modules/Forums/index.php on line 25

Warning: main(./common.) [function.main]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/homebuil/public_html/modules/Forums/index.php on line 26

Warning: main() [function.include]: Failed opening './common.' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php:/usr/local/lib/php') in /home/homebuil/public_html/modules/Forums/index.php on line 26

Fatal error: Call to undefined function session_pagestart() in /home/homebuil/public_html/modules/Forums/index.php on line 31

any ideas what the problem is or how to solve it?

Using 8.0? There are too many errors with that version, I suggest using a stable version - 7.6 + latest Patched files + Sentinel

or for a more integrated solution, RavenNuke from http://ravenphpscripts.com

If hes using 8.0 then he customeised something and broke it because i used a default 8.0 install and only had two problems too many page loads and then the apparent incompatiblilty of 8.0 with IE7 it loads too slow for browser and says page cant be found or timed out while 6.0 and netscape/mozilla have no problem accessing the website.

Gona need to know more about your version info like The Admin said.

Hey Guys.......

Thanks for the help..... I'm actually using ver 7.9

I have the following phpbb mods installed
easymod 0.3.0
eXtreme styles Mod 2.3.1
Simple Subforums Mod 1.0.2

Other than thats it's a clean install of phpnuke with absolutely no changes made from the defaults that one would get when it's installed.

After the install I upgraded phpbb to 2.0.21 - installed the mods for subforums and then checked the forum link within phpnuke and got the blank page problem.

I am using IE ver 7 though - are there incompatibilites with 7.9 and IE 7?

Sounds like its definitely something with those mods. Any errors? Enable error reporting and check your error logs
