Anyone know of a way to have an apostrophe in a Sommaire menu item? Thanks.

Why can't you put an apostrophe in an item?
what seems to happen, because I can do it in mine with no problem.
I put the one I use in my download section.

I should have been more clear. I'm not talking about the top level menu item in Sommaire, I'm referring to the module name itself (which you add as a menu item through Sommaire). If I open Modules under Administration, then click Edit to change the module name, I can't add an apostrophe. For example, if I open the FAQ module and change the name to FAQ's, it displays as FAQ\'s. Thanks.

ok I see.
where did you need to put your example like Faq's.
if you look at modules in the menu and then the catagories you will see the catagories are already there because they are installed in the module section of your admin. that is where you would need to change them.you need to click on modules icon in admin and change the text there or blocks ect. I put an example in my menu under modules and put an aposterphe in donation's.

I'm using FAQ's as an example. I actually have several menu items that will need apostrophes.

Yes, I want to do it just like you have it on your site. I still can't get it to work. Are you saying to click on Modules, and change the text there? Here's what I see:

I have tried changing FAQ to FAQ's but it displays as FAQ\'s.

I do appreciate all of the help your giving...Thanks!

movieman--Are you setting the link through Sommaire as an external link by chance? Or are you clicking on the module name from the drop down box?

I am setting it through modules in admin. nothing to do with the sommaire menu. as the example goto admin find modules icon click and find FAQ then edit it as your example FAQ'S then save it. then goto admin click on menu and where the drop down box is your talking about it should have the aposterphe in it now.

Ok, I'll walk you through my steps:

Step 1: Open Administration, then click on Modules. Click Edit on the FAQ Module.

Step 2: On the Modules Edit screen, I change the "Custom Module Name" to FAQ's and click Save Changes.

Step 3: Here's what the menu item looks like on the Sommaire menu:

Am I doing something wrong?

This is very strange. Does your Sommaire Menu item look just like mine? I wonder if I can use an external link under "Category's Content" and manually type the "Link's text"....

I'm about ready to give up!
