I have a bit of a strange problem I’m hoping someone might be able to shed some light on. I’ve been running a stable v7.9 of nuke on my site for many months now, but the other day for no apparent reason I noticed all the modules - both active and inactive - totally disappeared from the navigation menu (and the nuke_modules table) apart from just 1 or 2. Then a short while later they all reappeared, but all as inactive this time, as if they’d only just been installed!
I’ve since discovered that whenever I go into modules administration, the list of modules immediately disappears from the navigation menu and they also don’t show in modules admin, and are deleted from nuke_modules again. Then they all reappear again as inactive soon as I do something else. Also the whole administration menu disappears too when I’m in modules admin apart from just ‘logout/exit’!
I’ve dropped and recreated the nuke_modules table from a backup, and this keeps all the modules visible and active, but as before as soon as I go into modules admin all except 1 or 2 disappear again etc and I have to restore the table again to fix it.
This one has really got me stumped, so any help would be very much appreciated, thanks.

Your admin/modules/modules.php file may be corrupt or changed. Upload a fresh one and see if the problem persists.
SMF and PHP Nuke integration is ready! Take a look at it by clicking on the link above.

Thanks for the suggestion. I’d already done that and uploaded a clean admin/modules/modules.php but it made no difference unfortunately. In fact I uploaded a known clean version of the entire admin folder just to be on the safe side!
I’ve now discovered that going into any of the items in the admin menu causes the same problem and wipes out the nuke_modules table, which is very strange. Occasionally, a few random modules remain in the table, which makes no sense at all - to me anyway! It’s as if something is making block-Modules.php not see what’s in the modules folder properly when it compares the sub-folders to the table entries, and I suspect it’s block-Modules.php that’s doing the deleting as opposed to admin/modules/modules.php, bur heaven knows why going into any admin function triggers it to happen??
