G'day all.

I have a problem, something I have been working on forever for what would seem to be a simple problem, but obviously my knowledge is inadequate.

I am not even sure what version of PHPNuke I am running, it says copyright 2005 on the bottom, where can I find this info to help diagnose the problem? Might not be needed. I am using the theme Kaput.

Basically, I want the header banner to be centered regardless of the users resolution. Alot of laptops are widescreen and the inability to get the banner to work for me is proving frustrating.

The file I have been modifying to attempt to center the banner is:
phpnuke>themes>Kaput>theme.php

This seems to be the part of the code I want to modify:

if ($banners) {
include("banners.php");
}
OpenTable();
echo "<table border=\"0\"><tr><td>"
."<a href=\"index.php\"><img src=\"themes/Kaput/images/logo.gif\" border=\"0\" alt=\""._WELCOMETO." $sitename\"></td></tr></table>\n";
CloseTable();

I have tried inserting align="center" tags and everything I can think of to get the banner to sit in the middle. Am I barking up the wrong tree with this bit of code? Every modification either has no effect or causes the page not to load correctly, so I am back at square one at the moment.

Can anyone help me? The website is www.eurofordclub.com if anyone needs to see the problem in realtime.

Regards, Tim

Why dont you just create a background and use it to fill up the whole header. It will look a whole lot better than just centering what you have.

Just an idea. Plus you would just need to add the background to the header and you are done.

I'll give it a try, I have never done a background before but I am willing to learn. I'll do a search on google and see what I can find.

Noone else knows how to centre the banner even as a temporary fix?
