I hope this is in the right place. I was wondering if their is a way for me to allow individual members to submit news with out having it activated/authorized by me. Im only wanting to allow 2 different members this privledge. How can I accomplish this. Please help thanks.

That's possible.
However, i don't recommend that kind of auto-approving.
Alternatively, you may add them to your sub-admins with only the access priviledge of news. This is much more simple and safe.
I actually *do* want any users in a given user group to have their News entries auto-approved - so as to be able to use News as "blog" entries that are posted to the front page.
I switched back to PHPNuke from Drupal, and have been able to get every feature that my Drupal installation had that I liked and wanted to keep up and running...with the SOLE exception of blogging - where any blog entry that a user creates gets promoted to the front page, and entries are sorted by time of entry...exactly like the News Feature of PHPNuke...
But, to have the user have to create the entry, then have to go into the administration menu, and have to review it once, then post it (a total of 4 separate steps for fairly non-technical users) is unacceptable for a World of Warcraft clan site with less than 20 members.
I want any News entry that is posted by a member of the "Crew" usergroup to be automatically approved and posted to the News module, which is set up to show in Home.
