Is there an option or mod that will allow me to close down a site and have ALL links directed to the main page? I am selling my site at the moment and I want all visitors to be redirected to a "Site is temporarily closed" deal.

There are some security addons that should have a feature to close the site, I believe Sentinel and Protector do

I have Sentinel installed. Where is the option for this?

It's under General Settings which is on the first page when you go into Sentinel.

It's called 'Site Switch'. Change it disabled.
You can also change the page that is displayed under 'Default Page'.

I'm not even sure. Haven't updated it in a few months. Maybe even a whole year. Smile

Just make a module that has a holding page...then set it as your home page in the modules section and disable all modules...

put an index.html at your root directory..after that just rename your folders, for example:

admin --> ##admin
